Herbalife Gran Canaria reached an agreement with Zalgiris Kaunas to get forward Tomas Dimsa on loan for the remainder of the season, both clubs confirmed Monday. Dimsa (1.96 meters, 26 years old) played one official game with Zalgiris this season, getting 3 points in 16 minutes in a Lithuanian League showdown against Siauliai. Born in Kaunas, Dimsa joined Zalgiris's youth teams at a very young age, playing for Zalgiris-Sabonio mokykla Kaunas, too. He made his Lithuanian League debut in the 2012-13 season and played his first Turkish Airlines EuroLeague campaign a year later. Dimsa has also played for Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt of Germany, Vytautas Prienu and Juventus-LKSK Utenos of Lithuania, and Openjobmetis Varese of Italy.
