Joventut inks combo guard Jackson

Joventut Badalona, undefeated at 3-0 in Group E of the 7DAYS EuroCup Top 16, announced on Friday the addition of combo guard Demetrius Jackson until the end of the season. Jackson (1.85 meters, 26 years old) last played for Rytas Vilnius of Lithuania, where he arrived in the summer of 2020. There, he averaged 13.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.3 steals in the Lithuanian League. Jackson played college ball in Notre Dame from 2013 to 2016 and made his debut in the NBA with the Boston Celtics. He has also played with the Houston Rockets and the Philadelphia 76ers. In 2019-20 he played with the South Bay Lakers of the G-League before crossing the pond for his European debut in Rytas. He will now make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Joventut, who is still undefeated in the Top 16.
