Valencia Basket strengthened its backcourt by inking playmaker Neno Dimitrijevic to a four-year deal, the club announced Saturday. Dimitrijevic (1.86 meters, 23 years old) arrives from Joventut Badalona, where he averaged 12.9 points and 3.6 assists in 16 7DAYS EuroCup games last season, helping his team reach the playoffs. He had two of his best games against the two EuroCup finalists, getting 23 points and a PIR of 27 against UNICS Kazan in Regular Season Round 10, and collecting 22 points and a PIR of 23 against AS Monaco.
Born in Skopje, North Macedonia, Dimitrijevic joined Joventut in 2012 and made his first team debut in 2016. He also played for Arenys Basquet Joventut before becoming a full-time member of his team's first squad in the 2017-18 season. Dimitrijevic is also a member of the North Macedonian national team. In 31 EuroCup career games with Joventut, Dimitrijevic amassed 385 points (12.4 ppg.) and 117 assists (3.8 apg.).
