Hamburg Towers made another move in preparing for their 7DAYS EuroCup premier by signing a one-year deal with swingman Zach Brown, the club announced on Tuesday. Brown (1.98 meters, 25 years old), arrived from Szedeak Szeged in Hungary where he averaged 17.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 steals in the Hungarian League last season. That was the third professional season for Brown, who has climbed up the ranks since finishing his college career at Wichita State University in 2018. "I have always taken one step at a time over the past few years", Brown said. "The move to Hamburg is now a big leap." He started his pro career in French third-division side Lorient and played a season with AEK Larnaca in Cyprus, before joining Szeged last season. He is now set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
