Dolomiti Energia Trento announced small forward Jordan Caroline as its first signing for the 2021-22 season. Caroline (2.01 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Kaohsiung Jeoutai Technology, where he averaged 28.0 points and 14.4 rebounds in the Taiwan Super League last season. He began his professional career with South Bay in the 2019-20 season with South Bay in the G-League and also played for Hapoel Eilat in Israel's end-of-season tournament. Caroline played college basketball at Southern Illinois University and the University of Nevada, where he was a two-time All-Mountain West Conference First Team selection.
"Jordan is our first signing, a versatile player who can cover multiple roles and who can have a great impact on the perimeter and in the painted area on both sides of the court,” Coach Lele Molin said. “We count on him to bring physicality and athleticism to the team. We were looking for this type of profile and are very happy to welcome him to Trento.”
