Gran Canaria tabs forward Salvo

Herbalife Gran Canaria added depth to its frontline by signing forward Miquel Salvo to a two-year deal, the club announced on Thursday. Salvo (2.05 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Pablo San Burgos where he spent last two years. Last season he averaged 4.8 points and 2.4 rebounds in Spanish League action, while posting 5.7 points and 2.1 rebounds while helping the team win second consecutive Basketball Champions League title. Salvo grew up with FC Barcelona, made his professional debut with Charleroi in Belgium. He went on to also play with Spanish sides Cornella, Tarragona 2017, Oviedo and Gipuzkoa BC. Salvo also made his national team debut with Spain, and now is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
