Virtus Segafredo Bologna fortified its roster by signing swingman Marco Ceron for the coming season. Ceron (1.95 meters, 29 years old) played for Italian second-division sides Verona and Mantovana last season. He spent the previous two seasons with Germani Brescia Leonessa, with which he debuted in the EuroCup. Despite suffering a skull injury, Ceron averaged 4.4 points over eight EuroCup games with Brescia between the two seasons. He has also played for Reyer Venice, Recanati, Castelletto Ticino, Naples and Pesaro during his career.
