Joventut Badalona, MoraBanc Andorra, Slask Wroclaw and Hamburg Towers stepped up their preparations for the new 7DAYS EuroCup season with preseason friendly games this weekend.
Joventut came out on top in its meeting with MoraBanc, winning 71-84. Ferran Bassas paced the winners with 17 points, while Josep Busquets (14), Guillem Vives (11) and Andres Feliz (10) also scored in double figures. Codi Miller-McIntyre led Andorra's resistance with 17 points. Hamburg overcame Danish team Bakken Bears behind 15 points from new signing Jaylon Brown. Eddy Edigin (14 points), Lukas Meisner (13) and Seth Hinrichs (12) also gave strong contributions. Slask fell to a 78-71 defeat against Czech team Nymburk despite 14 points from Aleksander Dziena, 13 points and 9 rebounds from Cyril Ladwgevine and 12 points from Jakub Karolak.
