Turk Telekom Ankara announced it has parted ways with head coach Burak Goren. His assistant Candost Volkan will lead the team in upcoming games, including a Round 6 trip to face MoraBanc Andorra. The decision on a coaching change came after a 68-80 defeat against Yalovaspor on home floor in the Turkish League action. It was team's fourth loss in the five Turkish League games, where it holds 3-7 record. Meanwhile, the team had a good start in the 7DAYS Eurocup, and is sitting on a 3-2 record in Group A, having won all three home games, while losing both games on the road. Coach Goren was in his fourth season with the team, and Volklan worked as his assistant the entire time.
