Reyer reels in Morgan for frontcourt

Umana Reyer Venice strengthened its frontcourt by signing big man Jordan Morgan for the remainder of the season, the club announced Sunday. Morgan (2.04 meters, 30 years old) returns to the 7DAYS EuroCup after helping UNICS Kazan reach the final last season. He averaged 10.7 points and 6.9 rebounds for a PIR average of 14.3 in 21 games for UNICS, but missed the finals due to injury. Morgan also played in the EuroCup with Virtus Rome in 2014-15. In between those two stops, Morgan suited up for Hermine Nantes Atlantique of France, Kymis of Greece, Canton of the G-League, Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana of Slovenia and Banvit Bandirma and Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir of Turkey.

"I have always had great respect for this club that I have faced many times as an opponent. They have a winning culture of work and professionalism. I am enthusiastic, I have great respect for my new teammates and the manager,” Morgan said. “There is the potential to do great things."
