Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse added another weapon with the signing of small forward Jalen Jones, who arrives from Italian club Openjobmetis Varese. Jones (2.03 meters, 28 years old) averaged 14.1 points and 5.5 rebounds in 12 games in the Italian league this season. He first joined Varese in the summer of 2020, but was injured in his first game and did not return. Nevertheless, Varese retained his serviced for this season.
A native of Texas, USA, Jones played college basketball in his home state for SMU and then Texas A&M. He has played professionally for New Orleans, Dallas and Cleveland in the NBA; for Maine, Greensboro, Texas, Canton and Capital City in the G League and for Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in Spain. He appeared in 13 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games with Baskonia during the 2018-19 season. This will be his first time in the 7DAYS EuroCup.
