MoraBanc Andorra announced on Sunday that Ibon Navarro has been relieved of his duties as head coach and David Eudal has been promoted to take his place. Eudal, who was an assistant coach under Navarro, is also the head coach of the Andorran national team.
Though Andorra is in the top half of its 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season group with a 5-4 record, it has lost five straight games in the Spanish League to fall to 5-12 and 16th place out of 18 clubs.
In a statement released by the club, it thanked Coach Navarro for his “work and professionalism” during his time at the club. “Under his leadership, the club achieved important successes and his work will forever go down in the history of the club. We wish him good luck, he deserves it all, in the following challenges that he faces,” it concluded.
