Buducnost signs playmaker Perry from Panathinaikos

Buducnost VOLI Podgorica strengthened its lineup by signing point guard Kendrick Perry for the remainder of the season. Perry (1.85 meters, 29 years old) started the season with Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, where he averaged 4.8 points and 1.6 assists as a part-time starter in 19 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games. He had a monster campaign in the 7DAYS EuroCup last season with Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana; he was the third-ranked performer with an average PIR of 19.2 over 16 games. Perry ranked third among all EuroCup players in assists with 6.1 per game, fifth in scoring with 16.1 points, and eighth in steals with 1.4 on average. Perry and Cedevita won the Slovenian League title too.

Perry started his professional career with Sydney Kings of Australia and has also played for Iowa of the D-League, Egis Kormend and Szolnoki Olaj of Hungary, Karpos Sokoli 2000 Skopje of North Macedonia, Nizhny Novgorod of Russia, and Mega Bemax Belgrade of Serbia. He helped Karpos Sokoli win the North Macedonian Cup in 2017 and also won the Hungarian league and cup double with Szolnoki in 2018.
