Turk Telekom Ankara guard Anthony Clemmons anchored his team’s 85-71 upset of Partizan NIS Belgrade and in doing so earned MVP of the Round honors. Clemmons set career-highs with 20 points and 8 assists, which led to a performance index rating of 32. That PIR was also a personal best as well as the most of any player in Round 11. Clemmons enjoyed a near-perfect shooting night, making his only two-point attempts, all 5 of his threes and 3 of 4 foul shots. He also had 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 turnovers in his stat line. Jaron Blossomgame had the second-highest PIR of the round with a 25 after leading ratiopharm Ulm to an 84-68 victory over Virtus Segafredo Bologna. The forward contributed 19 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists to the winning effort. Axel Julien of Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse recorded his first EuroCup double-double with 12 points and 10 assists for a PIR of 24 in a 76-69 victory over Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana. His counterpart in that game, Yogi Ferrell, scored 24 points for a PIR of 22. Rounding out the list of Round 11’s best was Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar’s Darius Thompson. He amassed 15 points, 6 assists and 2 steals for a PIR of 21 in a 90-62 rout of Lietkabelis Panevezys.
Individual leaders: Kerem Kanter of Slask, 14 rebounds
Yogi Ferrell was the top scorer in Round 11 with 24 points. In doing so, he raised his average to 16.6 points, which would be among the top 10 in the competition this season if he had enough appearances. Errick McCollum of Lokomotiv remains atop the leader board with 22.7 points per game. Kerem Kanter of Slask Wroclaw is now the leading rebounder for the season after taking a Round-11 best 14 boards in his team’s loss against Boulogne Metropolitans 92. Kanter raised his average to 8.4 rebounds per game. Axel Julien was the only player with double-digit assists in Round 11. He dished 10 and is now seventh on the season with 5.4 per game. The full-season leader is Milos Teodosic of Virtus with 8.1 helpers per game. Desonta Bradford of Dolomiti Energia Trento, Samet Gayik of Turk Telekom and Sindarius Thornwell of Ulm shared the Round 11 lead in steals with 4 apiece. Derek Needham of Frutti Extra Bursaspor’s 2.2 steals per game are best in the EuroCup. Trento big man Maximilian Ladurner's 3 blocks were the most of any player in Round 11. With 1.7 blocks per game, Octavius Ellis of Turk Telekom leads all players this season. Six players recorded double-doubles in Round 11. They were Jaron Blossomgame and Cristiano Felicio of Ulm (10 points, 13 rebounds), Axel Julien, Vince Hunter of Metropolitans (10 points, 11 rebounds), Andrei Martiuk of Lokomotiv (11 points, 10 rebounds) and Edo Muric of Cedevita (13 points, 12 rebounds).
