The 2011 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four will embrace social media like never before with a host of new and enhanced platforms to give fans on site and at home the best behind-the-scenes access to Europe’s premier basketball event. Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare offer new opportunities to interact with fans, while the YouTube page and the staff blog on Euroleague.net will continue to present material all week long. In the buildup to the Final Four, the Euroleague Basketball's Official Facebook Group has upgraded its coverage and several Twitter accounts have been created to offer extra information about the event, ranging from late-breaking news to interesting facts and exclusive pictures. The Euroleague team of Tweeters will use the hashtag #TAEF4 to allow fans to gather all the latest Final Four information in the fastest and easiest manner. And there will be surprises on Foursquare too, with special promotions for fans attending the events!

However in time for the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four, several new accounts have been created to give fans more ways to stay abreast of the Final Four excitement at Palau Sant Jordi. Media Services Manager Diego Fernandez - @EB_Diego - will always be close to teams and players to offer last-minute information on what is going on. Euroleague.net's Assistant Editorial Director Javier Gancedo - @EB_Javi - will offer all kinds of information, facts, records and data, complementing what's seen on the court with his basketball background. Corporate Social Responsibility Senior Manager Isabel Gultresa - @EB_Isa - will inform on all social actions taking place at and surrounding the Final Four.
