Freshly-crowned Euroleague MVP and Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy winner Nando De Colo added a new honor to his list by setting a scoring record with 30 points Friday night against Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar in the opening game of the 2016 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin. His tally is the most-ever in a do-or-die Final Four, including all semifinal and championship games. De Colo started strong with 10 first-quarter points and took charge with 13 in the third, but left it to late to set the record. His free throws in the closing seconds took him past Euroleague Basketball Legend Ramunas Siskauskas, who had 29 for CSKA against Regal FC Barcelona, also in Berlin, in 2009. The competition record for most points in a Final Four game belongs to another CSKA great, Trajan Langdon, who netted 32 against Partizan Belgrade in the Third-Place Game in 2010 in Paris.
