Efes Pilsener is proud to announce that the CSKA Dance Team will be the Official Final Four Cheerleaders, one of the many acts ready to entertain fans in Paris from May 7 to 9. The CSKA Dance Team was one of Russia's first cheerleading squads and has become its most successful. The talented dancers contribute to the success of the CSKA Moscow basketball club by keeping the fans active and attentive during breaks in the action. In Paris, they will take on that role for all the teams, helping keep the lively atmosphere at its peak throughout the weekend. The CSKA Dance Team won the Russian Dance Team Competition twice (2004, 2007 - the last competition held) and regularly participates in numerous basketball and non-basketball events in Russia and abroad. Several members of the CSKA Dance Team have also participated in international competitions as members of the Russian national team in rhythmic gymnastics.
"We are happy to be chosen and we started our preparations already," CSKA Dance Team leader Anna Burkina said. "This is the second time we will perform during the Final Four – the first one was in Moscow in 2005. We will prepare eight new dances with new music, movements and costumes. I hope the fans will like it."
