Besiktas Integral Forex Istanbul grabbed sole possession of first place in Group H with a 70-77 road win at Radnicki Kragujevac. Besiktas improved to 4-1, while knocking out of first place with a 3-2 mark. Bradley Buckmann led the winners with 19 points, Chris Lofton scored 14, Colton Iverson tallied 13 points with 12 rebounds and Ryan Broekhoff added 12. Dusan Mladjan was the main contributor for Radnicki with 17 points on 4 of 7 three-point shooting. Dennis Seeley added 12 points, Nikola Kalinic 11 and Marko Marinovic 10.

Mouphtaou Yarou made a jumper for an early 13-7 Radnicki lead, but the visitors answered with a 0-8 run capped by an Iverson dunk to go ahead 13-15. The teams exchanged leads late in the quarter and a Mehmet Yagmur slam created a 21-24 advantage for Besiktas after 10 minutes. A three-point-play by Broekhoff extended the cushion to 23-29, then a three-pointer by Mladjan put Radnicki in front 32-31. A final 9-0 run for the visitors, highlighted by 5 points from Buckman, gave Besiktas a 34-42 lead at halftime. A Lofton layup and additional free throw gave a 34-47 margin to the guests early in the second half. Stefan Balmazovic hit from long distance, 41-47, but back-to-back triples from Lofton and Yagmur gave again a comfortable cushion to Besiktas, 45-55. Lofton seemed to be unstoppable and scored twice more from beyond the arc before the third quarter buzzer to make it 48-61 for his team. Mladjan from downtown capped a 10-0 run of Radnicki to open the final quarter and get within 58-61. An Iverson dunk with four minutes left kept a safe Besiktas margin, 62-69. Free throws helped the home team to stay alive, and a bucket by Mladjan after his steal and foul drawn made it 67-69. Iverson scored free throws for 67-73. Seeley hit a three with 15 second left, then Broekhoff was perfect from the foul line to seal the guests’ victory.
