Head Coaches

VASILYEV, ALEXEY
Avtodor Saratov
"We had a one-week interval between our previous game and the game tonight. I think it was one of the reasons for our not-well organized performance in the beginning of the game. Generally, we were able to stop Wolters. However, Akyol scored too many points. But we spoke about him and considered him as a very dangerous perimeter player. Sometimes we had a good pace. We made a lot of turnovers due to the high speed. It is really good we could win the game despite the many turnovers. I would like to thank my team and our fans who supported us very well tonight."
ULUG, YAGIZER HAMDI
Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul
"First of all, I want to congratulate Avtodor Saratov. In my opinion, they are the best team in our group. The hosts controlled the game until the end. We responded to them very well in the first three quarters, but we lost control at the end of the game. We got tired in the last quarter and could not stop them."

Players

STOLL, PAUL
Avtodor Saratov
"We played solid in the first half. In the second half we played really hard, really good defense and won. "
WOLTERS, NATE
Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul
"It was a tough loss for us in a game against very strong opponent. They made more plays in the fourth quarter than we did. That allowed them to win."
