U18 Maccabi Teddy Tel Aviv claimed seventh place at the EUROLEAGUE BASKETBALL ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT Qualifying Tournament Marko Ivkovic Belgrade by beating U18 Partizan NIS Belgrade 73-81. Amit Ebo drained 7 three-pointers in scoring 31 points to go with 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Eidan Alber collected 15 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals for the winners. Partizan finished in eighth place despite Tadija Tadic picking up 16 points and 11 assists.

Partizan opened with the first four points and was still within 7-9 thanks to five points from Dusan Tanaskovic. Three-pointers from Adam Ben Bassat and Alber bookended a 2-10 spurt from Maccabi for a 9-19 lead. And the cushion was 14-19 after 10 minutes. Two Amit Suss scores made it 14-23 and the gap was still 17-25 until Partizan used a 10-2 surge to knot the game at 29-29. Maccabi then pulled away with a 2-13 run with Suss and Nave Ben Shemen knocking down triples for a 29-40 advantage. And the lead was 34-43 at the break. Ebo picked up five points in pushing the Maccabi advantage to 37-48. Partizan fought its way back into the game with Bogdan Rutesic hitting two three-pointers among his eight points in a 15-3 close to the third quarter to lead 54-53. The lead switched hands three times early in the fourth quarter and Partizan was down just 60-62. Ebo drained two long balls for Maccabi and the gap was back to double digits 60-70. Partizan responded with the next seven points but Alber hit from long range and Ebo knocked down two more triples and the lead was 71-81 with a minute to play.
