Nothing new in Podgorica. After another home defeat against Skipper Bologna by 70-86, the Montenegrian team is still at the bottom of Group C, together with Zadar, with a 3-6 record. On the other side, the Italian team has got more chances to qualify for the next phase after raising its record to 4-5. Buducnost played quite well in some phases of the game, but it was not enough and it didn't have no continuity, just the opposite as Skipper, despite the low scorings by Andrea Meneghin and Gregor Fucka, who wasn't very inspired during the first 20 minutes. But Basile, Savic, Kovacic and the others ran over the hosts. Buducnost started every quarter badly, but in the first half they could come back in the game to hit the lockerrooms with 40-42. They even had had a small lead (32-30) after two straight threes by Dejan Radonjic and Goran Smiljanic, but Skipper struck back with a 0-9 run. The game was sealed in the third quarter with another 0-8 run. A three by Igor Rakocevic gave hope back to Buducnost at 47-54 but Zoran Savic replied with two more threes himself, and at 49-65, the game was broke open.

"Obviously the best team won tonight. In our team it was seen that Nikola Jestratijevic and Dejan Milojevic had not practiced for long time. Jestratijevic also played under a temperature. That means that we were very weak on the center spot. But I want to mention that we failed to materialize our good period in the first half because of our several stupidities which were easily punished by Skipper. They cut our game and made efficient fast breaks one on zero. The second half was the real picture of the strength of both teams. Skipper played very organized in defense. Furthermore, they scored almost every shot from outside, and we failed them so the score is logical. My players didn¿t respect the ball enough and in consequence we couldn't expect nothing more than the defeat".

"This game was very important. I think that it was more important for us then for Buducnost. In the first half we played ¿so so¿ because we had so many turnovers. But in the second half we played better in defense, and had a better circulation in offense. We also had some good shots from outside, we opened the court and won the game. So we have options to qualify for the second round of Euroleague. We have to win all the next games if we want to go for it.

"Skipper is better than us. We have kept up until the middle of the third quarter especially during the first half despite a lot of very brainless mistakes that we made. I think that we had a chance to win the game but we didn't play intelligently enough in the last 15 minutes. We gave our best and we tried to shine in all our colors but we didn't succeed to hit the victory."

"We have played much better then the score might say. It was a very important game for our team because we would be out from the battle for the second round if we had been beaten in Podgorica. I think that we still have a chance to earn that position. Buducnost have a very young and talented team that have to play on three¿four fronts. It is great effort for them and they couldn't play better in Euroleague."
