Head Coaches

Cedevita Zagreb
“This is a very valuable win for us. We played against a high-quality opponent. They are a lot more experienced than us and they are in great form. We tried to limit their field goals percentage and wanted to play tough defense on their shooters. We were not always successful at that, but we beat a team that outplayed Unicaja Malaga and Laboral Kutxa and that says a lot.”
RUIZ, JOAQUIN
CAI Zaragoza
“It is tough to win against such a high-quality team on their home court. We had some problems on defense. Overall we played a good game, but we lost. Jelovac played great in the first half, but I waited so long to bring him in the third quarter because we needed him in the last one.”

Players

PILEPIC, FRAN
Cedevita Zagreb
“This was a very important win for us. We did not play in the first half like we wanted to, but I believed we could win this game right from the start. In the second half we played better defense on Jelovac and we started to shoot very well. Zubcic made one important three, Babic scored 3 threes and when we shoot like that, it’s not easy to beat us.”
