In a clash of two already-eliminated teams, Alba Fehervar used a late 12-3 run to down the visiting Buducnost VOLI Podgorica 82-80 on Wednesday. Both teams now hold 2-7 record in Group F, but Buducnost has the edge due to a 6-point victory over Alba in Round 4. In a close game, Buducnost had the largest lead of the night, 69-75 with little over 4 minutes to go. But Braydon Hobbs, Ramone Moore and Anthony Olah rallied the hosts to their second win in a debut Eurocup season. Moore finished with 24 points, Hobbs netted 20 points and had 4 steals, while Olah contributed with 15 points. Jeleel Akindele collected 22 points plus 13 rebounds for Buducnost, Aleksa Popovic scored 16, while Suad Sehovic and Nikola Ivanovic had 13 apiece in a losing effort.

Buducnost grabbed an early 9-14 lead with Akindele scoring inside, and Marko Popovic hitting from the outside. But the hosts finished the quarter with a 12-2 run, thanks to a pair of triples and a put-back from Hobbs for 21-16. Akindele continued being presence in the paint for the visitors, and with a triple from Ivanovic helped tie the game 29-29. Peter Toth hit a three-pointer for Alba, but Akindele scored twice more inside for 32-33. Teams traded leads, with Moore for the hosts and Sehovic for Buducnost each hitting from long range. Alba went up by 5 points late in the second after a put-back from Gergely Somogyi and a jumper from Hobs, but Aleksa Popovic ended the first half with a half-court triple for 47-45. After the break, Akindele and Sehovic fueled a 0-8 run, but Hobbs nailed another triple for 53-53. Teams went basket-for-basket, exchanging leads, before Akindele and Sehovic scored on back-to-back possessions for 60-63 at the end of the third quarter. Moore and Hobbs kept being go-to guys for the hosts, and with a triple and a layup from Olah the hosts re-took the lead, but Milos Komatina answered from long range, and after Aleksa Popovic scored a layup-plus-foul on a fastbreak, Ivanovic also hit from downtown for 69-75 midway through the fourth. However, the hosts answered through Zoltan Supola, Moore and Hobbs, going in front again, 78-77. The visitors never led again, while Olah and Moore got Alba to 81-78 from the foul line, as Alba did not allow a field goal for more than 4 minutes, picking up its second victory in the competition.

Alba Fehervar
"I think our players played a very focused game and they understood our situation. It wasn't easy. We were loyal to what we did in practice. The mental circumstances for us were very difficult, because we lost 2 players due to injury in the last moment, and Supola and Szanati played with minor injuries. We were together as a team and we focused well, that is what I told them before the game. I am happy with the team because we are improving, especially the mental side of the team. In the first half both teams weren't good in defense. The second half Buducnost increased its intensity, this made it harder for us, but we didn't lose the faith, we believed."
JOVOVIC, IGOR
Buducnost Voli Podgorica
"Congratulations to our opponent. I think we didn't play with energy on our maximum, what is very important in these games. In the first half we allowed too many points, and that wasn't the plan. During the second half we got the lead, but before the end we missed too many free throws."

"It was a good game for us. It is a big win, with a lot of people missing today. We played as a team, we played hard. We worked hard and it went our way. It was good to get the win."
VITKOVAC, CEDOMIR
Buducnost Voli Podgorica
"Congratulations to Alba. We didn't play a good game, especially in the first half. Because of our defense, we lost the game. We didn't expect easy game, we knew that Alba is a good team with character. We were not at the energy level needed."
