Early in the second half, Gran Canaria scored 8 straight points thanks to back-to-back three-pointers by Javier Beiran and Shurna for a 48-44 lead. Ferrari punched back with 3 free throws and a three-pointer as Gran Canaria nosed ahead only to see Chris Warren knock down a buzzer-beating three for a 63-65 lead after 30 minutes. Nanterre was held scoreless for the first 2 minutes of the fourth quarter and baskets from Shurna had Gran Canaria ahead 69-65. Isaia Cordinier hit a triple to get the visitors on the board, but Okoye drained back-to-back triples and it was 75-68. Stone answered from the outside at the other end, but Okoye buried another triple and Costello added 2 threes in a 15-1 run for a 92-74 margin to decide the game for good.

Head Coaches

FISAC, PORFI
Herbalife Gran Canaria
"The second victory in a row is more important for us because every day we need to improve on defense. In the second half, the pick-and-roll and the rhythm of the game were the keys to winning this game."
DONNADIEU, PASCAL
Nanterre 92
"We played three very good quarters. We managed to have the lead. I am happy about that. Unfortunately, Gran Canaria is a very strong team and their intensity was too much. But I am very happy with the first three quarters."

Players

OKOYE, STANLEY
Herbalife Gran Canaria
"We played a really good game. In the first quarter, they were hitting everything, Tyler Stone made every shot. We set to define our way to take advantage. We made some adjustments and at the end of the game, we started switching a lot in the pick-and-roll and we were able to get some stops and score."
WILEY, JACOB
Herbalife Gran Canaria
"I felt like we struggled in the first half. I did especially. But we stayed strong and we really took advantage of our bench and our energy in the third and fourth quarters. And it paid off."
