Head Coaches

ATAMAN, ERGIN
Galatasaray Medical Park
"We knew it would be a difficult game for us. BC Donetsk is one of the candidates to win the Eurocup and they came here to win the game. In the first quarter we could not do what we wanted to on the defensive side and they had a good start. However, in the second quarter, we tried the zone defense and it went well. Afterwards, we got both the momentum and the control of the game. In the second half, we actually tried to run away, but they are a very quality team and they did not let the game go. The most important thing is to win the game and we are happy we did."
BERROCAL, JOSEP MARIA
Donetsk
"We actually had a chance to win the game, but in the second quarter, we allowed too many points and made a lot of mistakes. We are an improving team and playing against Galatasaray Medical Park, who is currently undefeated both in their league and Eurocup, was not easy. They definitely are a strong team and they have very quality players. Congratulations to my players and the opponents."

Players

ARSLAN, ENDER
Galatasaray Medical Park
"We actually forced them into difficult shots, but they had a good day on offense; that’s why we could not take control of the game. We did not want to lose a home game and in the fourth quarter, we increased our defense and won the game."
SONGAILA, DARIUS
Donetsk
"First of all, it was a very tough game. The 10-point deficit from the second quarter hurt us a lot. It was an important road game, and if you want to win these types of games, you should not make crucial turnovers and miss open shots. We actually succeeded in stopping the other team, but we could not win."
