Head Coaches

RECALCATI, CARLO
Umana Reyer Venice
"We really needed this win – and winning the way we did gives you energy and confidence. We knew we needed to play 40 minutes with great intensity. In the Eurocup, we will always need to take a step forward, physically speaking. This is very hard to do, it takes a lot of energy, but this is a step that we need to take."
WEISZ, ALAIN
SLUC Nancy
"It's not easy to play here. The third quarter unfortunately allowed them to regain confidence. This was especially a better quality game at the defensive level. Sharaud Curry brought a lot to us, and it's a great thing. I think the team is on track. We do not give up, we continues to work hard. It's a frustrating defeat. We thought we had won when we were leading by 3 points with 40 seconds remaining. We must not give up, it will come."

Players

PERIC, HRVOJE
Umana Reyer Venice
"We are really happy about the win. As you could see, it was a really tough game. We knew they are a very physical team with great rebounders. In my opinion we followed perfectly our game plan, but missed too many open shots in the first half. Then we got our offensive rhythm and increased confidence. We also were lucky at the end."
CURRY, MORRIS
SLUC Nancy
"It was a good game. Both team played well down the stretch. Venice capitalized on a couple of our mistakes. I think we did good job for the whole game, but we paid for our final mistakes. We can build from this game; we can take positive things from that. Venice is a good team, especially offensively."
