Alba Berlin
"As expected Strasbourg was a hard opponent. They are a Euroleague team and have quality at every position making it hard to match up. I saw a mental tiredness in my team today leading to turnovers and mistakes. But my players showed character and found a way to win the game. Especially David Logan was important in the end, scoring really hard shots."
COLLET, VINCENT
Strasbourg
"This was a really tough first game. Berlin is a good game and we knew that. We had a break in the last weeks and Berlin didn’t, but it was us who started the game better. The second quarter was the opposite, but we stayed closed. Then Alba made another run in the third, but again we had the will to stay close. After moving the ball quickly and well in the last quarter we could have won the game, but David Logan made incredible shots for ALBA. We had to shots to win the game, but we missed them. That’s basketball."
