KK Split managed to pull its only win at the Nike International Junior Tournament in L'Hospitalet on Saturday night, by beating previously undefeated Cajasol Seville by 75-77 in the last breath. This result didn't affect the Group B standings at all. Cajasol was already group champ and finished with a 2-1 record, and it will face Real Madrid in the Sunday semis. KK Split ended up last in the group standings with a 1-2. In the game, Ivan Bender led the winners with 17 points and 12 rebounds, Arijen Dosen added 14 and Dragan Bender posted 11. For Cajasol, Adrian Camino and Adrian Martinez bagged 13 points apiece and Gabriel Herrera had 12.

KK Split managed to pull a 2-9 lead early into the game but Cajasol reacted soon enough to make it 23-20 after 10 minutes. The Spanish team even managed t increase the lead somewhat by the halftime break when the scoreboard displayed a 38-32 at the break. In the third period, Split managed to find a few more open shots and a lates boost by Dosen with 8 straight points for him, allowed the Croatians to pull within 57-54 after 30 minutes. In the last period, Cajasol was still keeping a slim lead, 73-67, with 140 seconds to go. Then, a 0-7 burst by Split capped with Dosen's three made it 73-74 with 70 seconds to go. Adrian Carrion could only score one more free throw for Cajasol while Ivan Jukic replied with a new three for 74-77. Carrion still had time to miss a couple three-point attempts with seconds to go and then was fouled. On the line he only could score one for the final 75-77.
