Head Coaches

KARASEV, VASILY
Zenit St Petersburg
"I want to thank the fans who supported us today when we were going through hard times. We had time to prepare before this game and this resulted in a victory by 15 points. It’s hard to come back after a 26-point loss. We had to hurry and that’s why we let the opponent shoot free throws. Considering we have a small rotation in the Eurocup, that was a good victory for gaining confidence."
BAGATSKIS, AINARS
Nizhny Novgorod
"The coaching staff told the players that the game will be tough. We won at home with such an advantage only by playing top quality basketball. Even though the first half was even, we had 8 turnovers and Zenit had 9 offensive rebounds. We were thinking about playing in the next round. Zenit showed an attitude and it was good for us to have such a big advantage after the first game."

Players

ANTIPOV, PAVEL
Zenit St Petersburg
"We failed in the first game. A 26-point advantage is too big. We tried to play our basketball without an unnecessary rush after that advantage. We were close and I want to thank the fans for their supports. We hoped that they would let their guard down and tried to play hard."
STREBKOV, IVAN
Nizhny Novgorod
"We didn’t show our basketball even though we had a good attitude for the game despite our advantage. They showed character and the end of the game was really nervous. It was good we had such an advantage after the first game."
