Salin made free throws before a jump-hook by Moldoveanu ignited a 9-0 run in which Bost had 5 points that put Zielona Gora back in charge, 61-59. Rabaseda's free throws preceded consecutive triples by Baez that gave Gran Canaria fresh air, but Moldoveanu answered from downtown to keep Zielona Gora within 65-67 after 30 minutes. Rabaseda split free throws early in the fourth quarter and a put-back layup by Omic boosted the guests' lead to 65-70. Zielona Gora found a new go-to guy in Bost, who buried consecutive three-pointers for a 71-70 lead. Rabaseda downed his own triple and so did Aguilar to make Zielona Gora stop the game with a timeout at 71-76. "We have played an extraordinary game. They have also proved that they are a great team, but we had a great shooting percentage and great team work. I am very satisfied with my players, but we need to know that we are at the halftime of this round. In the first half, they played a very high pace and with great shooting from threes. In the second half, they shot with a normal percentage, because in the first one they were above 50%. We had a great attitude and we keep fighting when they reacted."

"It was an incredibly difficult game. Zielona Gora played really well since the beginning. They made us sweat to bring to Gran Canaria this 11-point lead. They don’t depend on one player: many of them could make the difference, in the first half for example, when Gruszecki was outstanding with 13 points. We must pay attention to their shooters and for sure they will learn the lesson from this game for next week. We have to remember that they have won all their games as visitors."
