Head Coaches

RADONJIC, DEJAN
Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade
"Start of the match showed what will happen in the rest of the game. We needed to play better, with more energy in order to beat our opponent. We have played well in the majority of the game, but Nizhny players grabbed their chance and triumphed. They managed to do it because of their experience, quality and excellent shot percentages."
LUKIC, ZORAN
Nizhny Novgorod
"Our goal was to make a comeback after an unexpected loss against St. Petersburg. We made some stupid decisions tonight, we could play smarter. We did not play under pressure because I do not know if this victory will bring us anything. I would like to thank Crvena Zvezda for triumphing over Bilbao, because who knows what would happen tonight if they did not. We wish all the luck to Zvezda and we are now turning to our challenges in VTB league."

Players

SIMONOVIC, MARKO
Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade
"We did not open the game the right way. Because of that, we had to chase our opponent which made us spend a lot of energy. Their offense with tall players was atypical, they had excellent shot percentages and they won at the end. We have to analyze what happened and to continue to work hard. Last couple of games made us very tired, which showed tonight. It was not easy, but we have to go on."
ANTONOV, SEMEN
Nizhny Novgorod
"We have played an excellent game by letting Crvena Zvezda to only score 74 points. We tried to do everything our coach asked us to. Yes, we made some mistakes, but we played with maximum focus at the end of the game which was the key to our victory."
