Telenet Oostende
"In Eurocup games it is important to win the game. We succeeded in that. Our first half was very bad. I told my players at halftime that we should be happy only being down 1 point. In the third quarter we played better defense, we had a better ball circulation and we made better decisions. The thing that killed us this game was rebounding, especially Stevic. At the end I think we made some tactical mistakes, we wanted to do too many things resulting in lots of turnovers, which helped the opponent come back to 6 points, which might be important in the end. "

"I am happy to be back in Oostende where I practically started my coaching career. Tonight's game was tough, especially in the first half. We needed one more break to get a good esult at halftime. In the third quarter we made too many mistakes. We argued with referees instead of staying focused on the game. I am very sorry that this happened and I have big respect for the referees. In the fourth quarter we tried to come back and I think we succeeded to bring back the margin to a decent figure for the next game with Oostende. Next week we will welcome Oostende in the best possible way, just like they welcomed us. "
