FMP completed the games in Group A with its third big win, this time an 45-88 blow out against BC Crvena Zvezda in the opening game of Day 2 in the Belgrade Nike International Junior Tournament on Saturady morning in Belgrade, Serbia. FMP will face tomorrow in the semi-finals the loser of the upcoming match between INSEP and Partizan Belgrade in the parallel group. FMP won its group with a 3-0 record and a goal difference of +104 while Zvezda, after two close losses yesterday, took the last spot and will play later on today against the winner of the Brose Baskets and KK Hemofarm Stada game in the 5-8 classification games. Nikola Pavlovic scored 14 points, Nikola Siladi added 13 while Vasilije Micic and Nikola Jankovic scored 11 each. Marko Radonjic led Zvezda with 14 points and Ivan Saicic had 10 points.

FMP wasted no time and took a 2-14 lead after 5 minutes as 6 players shared the points. Jankovic combined 7 points in a row to put his team 18 points ahead, 9-27 right before the first buzzer, but FMP weren't about to stop. Stefan Popovski-Turanjanin started to hit from the perimeter and reached 7 points in 7 minutes to stop any attempt for a comeback from Zvezda's side and even increase the gap to 24 by the break, 25-49. It took FMP two minutes inside the second half to regain its scoring ability, too few for Zvezda to make any difference in the game. Popovski-Turanjanin combined 5 points to start the closing period and push the margin to 30 as Nenad Miljenovic continued to distribute the ball between his team-mates and make another run to conclude the story of the game.
