BC Budivelnik Kiev improved to 2-2 in difficult Group A by edging Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem 84-77 at home on Wednesday. Budivelnik will tie for second place in Group A at the end of this round and Hapoel will be fourth at 1-3. Malcolm Delaney paced the winners with 22 points, including 3 triples in the final 7 minutes. Leo Lyons added 20, Artur Drozdov had 18 and 12 rebounds while Giorgi Tsintsadze got 12 points for Budivelnik. Jacob Pullen led Hapoel with 22 points. Courtney Fells added 19 and 9 rebounds while Elishay Kadir got 10 for the guests. Budivelnik opened the game with a 10-0 run but an outstanding Pullen allowed Hapoel to get its first lead, 17-19. Budivelnik stayed within 24-26 after 10 minutes and managed to get the lead at halftime, 46-44, behind an outstanding Lyons. Budivelnik boosted its margin to 55-48 after 30 minutes but Fells gave Hapoel a 74-77 lead with 2 minutes lead. Michailis Anisimov, Delaney and Tsintsadze led a final 10-0 run which made Budivelnik get a pivotal home win.

Back-to-back three-pointers by Tsintsadze and Drozdov ignited a 10-0 opening run in which Lyons had 4 points. Hapoel went scoreless for more than 3 minutes until Kadir hit a jumper. Drodzov scored again and a layup by Lyons forced the guests to call timeout at 14-2. Delaney joined the three-point shootout but Hapoel found two go-to guys in Pullen and Craig Smith, who combined for 13 points in a 0-15 run that gave Hapoel its first lead, 17-19. Dainius Salenga answered from downtown but Pullen erased it with a three-point play and a layup by Dan Grunfeld made it a four-point game, 20-24. Drozdov and Lyons made free throws and a jumper by Meir Tapiro fixed the score at 24-26 after 10 minutes. Salenga made free throws early in the second quarter and even when Fells struck from downtown, 5 unanswered points by Lyons put Budivelnik back ahead, 31-29. Pullen scored down low, Kadir hit a jumper and a put-back basket by Fells gave Hapoel a 33-36 edge. Kadir scored down low but Drozdov hit a three-pointer and free throws by Lyons tied it at 38-38. Kadir and Delaney traded baskets and Smith scored again for a 40-42 score. Igor Krivtsov found his first points in the paint and even when Tapiro sank a jumper, Lyons and Salenga restored a 46-44 Budivelnik edge at halftime.

Drozdov scored around the basket right after the break and a jumper by Delaney made it a six-point game, 50-44. Raviv Limonad and fells stepped up with consecutive baskets but Tsintsadze and Lyons allowed Budivelnik to stay way ahead, 55-48. Delaney shined with a power layup but Limonad brought Hapoel a bit closer, 57-52. Anisimov split free throws and Delaney kept pacing Budivelnik with a layup. Pullen sank a jumper and free throws by Tapiro gave Hapoel some hope at 60-56. Drozdov and Pullen exchanged layups for a 62-58 score after 30 minutes. Fells took over with back-to-back baskets early in the fourth quarter and Duncan soon capped a 0-9 run with a jumper, good for a 62-65 Hapoel lead. Delaney buried a key three-pointer and a layup by Tsintsadze gave Budivelnik a 67-65 edge with 7 minutes to go. Drozdov scored down low and Delaney bettered Duncan's jumper with a triple for a 72-67 lead. Hapoel found a new scoring reference in Fells, who had 8 unanswered points to make Budivelnik call timeout at 72-75. Drozdov scored again but a fast break layup by Pullen restored a 74-77 Hapoel lead with over 2 minutes left. Anisimov hit a critical layup and 3-of-3 free throws by Tsintsadze gave Budivelnik the lead for good, 79-77. Anisimov stepped up with a key block on Pullen and a three-pointer by Delaney sealed the outcome down the stretch.
