U18 Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade booked its second straight victory at the EUROLEAGUE BASKETBALL ADIDAS NEXT GENERATION TOURNAMENT Qualifying Tournament Marko Ivkovic Belgrade by beating city rival U18 Paritzan NIS Belgrade 85-56 in Group A. Aleksa Uskokovic poured in 22 points with 4 assists and 4 steals for Zvezda, which extended its winning streak at the ANGT Belgrade to 29 games dating back to the 2010-11 season. Zoran Paunovic added 10 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists for the six-time reigning ANGT Belgrade champion, which will finish group play and hope to reach its seventh straight final by facing U18 Stellazzurra Basketball Academy on Saturday. Stefan Adzic collected 12 points for Partizan, which fell to 0-2 in the group and finishes round robin play against U18 Porsche Basketball Academy Ludwigsburg.

Stefan Momirov scored six points as Zvezda jumped out to 12-8 lead with Uskokovic picking up four points. Adzic made it a one-point game with a three-pointer for Partizan but Dordevic stepped out and nailed a long ball for Zvezda, which led 19-13. The gap was 21-17 after 10 minutes. Partizan was unable to get ahead and the lead was 27-20 on two free throws from Milos Stajcic. Zvezda went scoreless for 3 minutes but Partizan could only pull to within 27-26 on a Tadija Tadic score. Dusan Bubanja came up with a steal and dunk for the home side and Zvezda turned in a five-point possession on three free throws from Arijan Lakic, including one from a technical and Dordevic hit a hook shot and the gap grew to 38-26. Zvezda was ahead 42-30 at intermission. Uskokovic continued his strong play with four points in a 9-0 start to the third quarter and a 51-30 lead. Partizan finally scored at the 6:20 minute mark on a Boris Latinovic basket. Partizan went another 4 minutes without a basket and Uskokovic nailed two three-pointers and a driving layup as the margin swelled to 59-35. It was 65-40 after three quarters. Zvezda failed to score in the first three minutes of the four quarter, allowing Partizan to cut the gap to 65-47. But Dordevic knocked down another three-pointer and Ranko Simovic threw down a dunk to make it 70-47. Partizan did not get closer than 22 points the final 6 minutes of the game while Aleksa Ilic’s three-pointer made it a 30-point game 80-50 with 2 minutes left.
