Seville dropped to 0-2 in the group despite 20 points from Leo Cizmic with Eduardo Lada picking up 13 points in the loss and Daniel Vicente scoring 10.

Lada and Alejandro Rodriguez scored early to give Seville a 4-0 lead and it was 7-2 after Cizmic’s three-point play. Bamberg’s first four scores came from different players with Kulboka’s three-pointer evening the game at 9-9 and Nils Hassfurther giving Bamberg its first lead 9-11. Two ties followed with Seville pulling ahead and leading 17-14 after an Alejandro Valor put-back. Valor and Cizmic followed with three-pointers and Vicente’s free throw left Seville ahead 24-16 after 10 minutes. Kulboka started the second quarter with a three-point play before Juan Manuel Campos made it 28-20. Oliver Gonnert followed with a long ball for Bamberg and the big man duo of Sanders and Lagerpusch pushed Bamberg ahead 28-29. Lada answered with a three-pointer, but Sanders tied it at 31-31 and then Sanders and Kulboka nailed back-to-back shots as Bamberg surged ahead 33-36. Sanders continued his strong play with three straight baskets to increase the margin to 34-43. Seville trimmed the difference to 5 points, but Bamberg led 38-45 at the intermission.

Cizmic opened the second half with a three-pointer and a pair of Cizmic baskets got Seville to within 45-47. Lagerpusch kept Seville from tying the game and another Kulboka triple restored a 7-point gap. Lada knocked down a three-pointer, but Edwardsson answered with a three-point play and a three-pointer to start a 2-14 run, which included another Edwardsson basket to lead 52-66. It was 53-66 through three quarters. Bamberg picked up the first 6 points of the fourth quarter to increase the gap to 53-72. Giorgi Tvalabeishvili finally got Seville on the board and Valor made it 57-72.
