FMP collected the ticket to the finals of the Belgrade Nike International Junior Tournament after a 71-58 win over Partizan Belgrade on Saturday night in Belgrade, Serbia. Once again FMP showed its dominance and remained perfect after 4 games with yet another one-sided win, although this one took much more energies than the ones before. FMP will take on INSEP in the finals tomorrow in hope to grab the gold medal of the competition. The winner of the tournament will earn the third ticket to the annual Nike International Junior Tournament which will take place during the 2010 Euroleague Final Four weekend in Paris, France. Partizan fought hard but couldn't stand against the great pressure of FMP's defense and the creative offensive style led by Nenad Miljenovic. A 15 point gap at the break was never put in danger throughout the entire second half, as the difference never went back to single-digits, despite Partizan's great efforts and endless spirit. Miljenovic topped the score sheet with 18 points, Nikola Siladi added 14, Nemanja Bezbradica contributed 12 with 8 rebounds while Nikola Pavlovic and Vasilje Micic had 10 each. Nemanja Besovic was the top scorer of Partizan with 16 points, Marko Josilo and Nikola Radicevic scored 11 each.

An active Miljenovic pushed FMP to a quick 8-0 lead, but Besovic with a great assist and a dunk got Partizan involved in the game. Miljenovic continued his good form and when Silodi started to produce by attacking the rim and later a big block FMP regained a safe lead of 21-12 at the end of the first quarter. The teams entered the second quarter after FMP missed all its three attempts from the arc and Partizan didn't take even a single shot from long distance, but soon the rain began. Siladi broke the drought with the first three pointer of the game and Pavlovic finished a fast break to set the gap on 12, 26-14. FMP's pressured the ball and Miljenovic continued to make things happen as his team added 6 more points in a row, for an 18 point lead. Partizan called a time out and Besovic finally broke the drought, but FMP kept forcing turnovers and produce at the other end. Besovic scored again and dished out an assisst for a three pointer as Partizan scored 7 points in a row and this time it was FMP's turn to call for a time out after 16 minutes of basketball. Back from the time out FMP scored 5 points in a row to recapture the lead, and when Bezbradica finished a fast break with a big play and a bonus from the foul line the gap extended to its peak of 19, 43-24. Besovic scored four more impressive points right before the break and the teams walked off the court divided by 15.

Aleksandar Radenkovic with a power play started to gather momentum for Partizan and an unsportsmanlike foul on FMP's Milan Stevanovic helped cut the gap to only 14, yet that didn't last long. In less than 10 seconds Radenkovic was called for consecutive unsportsmanlike fouls, was ejected and saw FMP retake a 17 point lead, 53-36. Siladi faced the basket and hit the last basket of the third quarter to set the gap on 62-42 as the teams entered the closing quarter. Partizan weren't about to give up that easily, and Besovic capped nine points in a row in favor of Partizan, to cut the margin to only 11, still with 6 minutes to play, but Miljenovic prepared a quick reply with a huge three pointer. Another push by the black and whites put back in minus 11 with the ball in their hands but Miljenovic stepped up with a big steal to stop the fast break and later finished a break at the other side set the gap on 13, 67-54 with 4 minutes to play. Siladi wrote a huge block on Besovic but Josilo fixed to cut the margin to ten again, 68-58, but that's as close as Partizan managed to get in the second half.
