"First, congratulations to Lokomotiv for the game. This was absolutely two different levels of basketball tonight. The teams, first of all, the roster and the team of Lokomotiv, compared to us... this is the difference and they showed it on the court. Especially with our problems with injured guys, it is a really amazing problem for us. After Carrington and Yeguete, it is very, very difficult to play. We need to have a full roster and maybe play 120% to beat Lokomotiv. Playing against Lokomotiv is very difficult... We had some good moments, but in the end, we missed free throws and that is very important when maybe there is some chance to get back in the game... And of course, you see the difference in the rebounding, it is amazing, 48 to 33. But Lokomotiv is the best rebounding team in the EuroCup. It is very difficult to play against a team with that size and quality. A couple of my players showed great energy and some of the young guys didn't. I am not happy with Aboudu [Ndoye] and Darral Willis. The young guys need to show some energy. I understand somebody can play good or bad, but they have to show energy on defense, offense, rebounding, etc. We made a lot of mistakes and an experienced, high-quality team punishes all of our mistakes with easy points like fast breaks and easy shots."

"First of all, I would like to say 'thank you' to our guys. We stayed focused for 40 minutes and deserved to win. We had solid defense today. In some moments in the third quarter, we didn't control the game, but after that, we got a timeout, played together and started to be solid defensively and smarter offensively. I think this is one more step to get out targets, to fight for the best position in our group."

"We were focused on controlling the rhythm of the game because Monaco is a very physical, very athletic team that runs a lot. They jump for the rebounds, and they showed this in the EuroCup with great numbers in offensive rebounds. If they miss a shot, they get offensive rebounds and a lot of second-chance points. We were focused on this a lot. We lost a little bit of control in the third quarter and felt the pressure. We forced some situations but after that, we calmed down. I called a timeout, talked to the guys and controlled the rhythm of the game. Offensively, we shared the ball and tried to find the open man, because Monaco packs the zone a lot and it is very difficult to score under the basket, so we needed to pass the ball. I would like to say that our guys did well and this is a big step for us. We deserved the win and stuck together, we played as a team, fighting for each other. I think this was the key for the win today."

"I am frustrated. We didn't execute our game plan. They dominated us all game. We cannot be down by 20 at some point, more than 20, at home. It is a shame. We can find some excuses. We were missing players and our rotation was short, but at the end of the day, when you play at home, you cannot let a team come here and be more aggressive than you, win the 50-50 balls. We cannot hide behind excuses. We had no energy, as simple as this. When we play with no energy, it is tough to execute on offense and defense. We just get smacked when you play with no energy. They dominated the boards and had more energy. They wanted to win more than us. They played better, that's it."

"Everybody just played well at a very important time in the game. It was a team effort, everybody contributed. I am very happy. We beat a very good team. We know we have to see them again, so it was a good win for us."
