Crvena Zvezda became the Euroleague Basketball Nike International Junior Classification Tournament Belgrade-JCT Group A champion by overwhelming Mega Vizura 73-121 at Basket City on Saturday. Both teams had already qualified to the semifinals. Zvezda won Group A with a 3-0 record and Vizura finished second at 2-1. Dusan Ristic led 7 Zvezda players in double digits with 21 points in less than 13 minutes. Petar Vorkapic and Stanko Ilic each added 18, Marko Guduric and Marko Tejic had 17 apiece, Brano Djukanovic got 14 while Ognjen Dobric contributed 12 for the winners. Rade Zagorac led Vizura with 26 points, Strahinja Jovanovic added 13 and Milos Cukovic 10.

Ristic had 9 points in a 3-14 opening run that gave Zvezda its first double digit lead. A dunk by an unstoppable Ristic soon made it a 15-point game, 5-20, midway through the first quarter. Jovanovic stepped up late in this period to keep Vizura within 20-33 after 10 minutes. A 0-14 run that Vorkapic capped with a three-point play broke the game open, 20-45, early in the second quarter. Tejic took over late in the first half, Zvezda kept rolling and a dunk by Ilic fixed the halftime score at 29-72. Nothing changed after the break, as Zvezda extended its margin to 46-94 after 30 minutes, reached the 100-point mark with over 7 minutes to go and cruised to a well-deserved, impressing win.
