Union Olimpija Ljubljana remained perfect after a 71-66 victory over USK Future Stars Prague on Day 2 of Group B in the Barking Abbey Academy Euroleague Basketball Junior Classification Tournament. Olimpija has a 2-0 record while the team from Prague dropped to 1-1, leaving all spots in the group undecided. The two teams will resume their games later on today to set the final standings of Group B. Olimpija used a great blitz by Filip Petrovic in the closing minutes to make the difference after a lot of ups and downs during the game. Gezim Morina led Olimpija with 15 points, Jan Span added 13 while Petrovic scored 13 in 14 minutes, 8 of those in the game's last 3 minutes. Michal Mares topped the lists with 23 points for the losing side and Michal Sotnar added 13.

The Future Stars of Prague used a 0-13 first-quarter run to take a 4-17 lead after 9 minutes, but before the buzzer Olimpija wrote 10 points in a row to erase the big gap. Olimpija continued its run, and soon completed a 21-2 dash to climb on top, as Span scored inside the lane. Mares carried Prague on his back and with 4 points made sure his team wouldn't be too far behind at the break, 34-30. Olimpija stayed on top, until Mares again led the Prague on a 2-11 run and reached a 47-54 lead at the third-quarter buzzer. Mares continued to create and with 7 minutes on the game clock the gap was already 9, but a 10-2 run made it a whole new game down the stretch. Petrovic, who hit twice from the arc in that run, added another great spin move on the baseline to complete the run and write a 67-64 Olimpija lead. Prague never recovered from that spot and ended up losing by 5.
