Cajasol first pulled away in the second quarter. Diego Gallardo hit a three-pointer for 20-15, and Karl Robin Jurjens a basket-plus-free throw for 30-23. The Spanish side went into halftime up 33-26, but with 4 points from Maxim Salash extended it to 37-26 early in the third. However, Virtus quickly rallied regaining the lead with Gabriele Romeo fueling a 2-14 run that he contributed with 12 points, including a pair of triples. Gallardo ended the third quarter with a triple for 46-43, but Cajasol opened the fourth with threes from Fabio Sansone and Federico Pagano for 46-51. Triples from Gallardo and Salash tied it at 55-55, and Tomeu Rigo hit from downtown for 59-58. In the final minute, Salash and Romeo traded baskets, before Virtus had a possession to win but never managed to attempt a potential game-winning shot. Salash led in victory with 23 points plus 8 rebounds, and Galalrdo netted 13. Romeo scored 18 for Virtus.
