Pamesa Valencia clinched first place in Group G and eliminated BC FMP with a 64-85 victory on the road. The guests gave up just 6 points in the third quarter and used a 0-19 run in that period to pull away for the easy win. The victory keeps Valencia perfect at 5-0, securing the top spot from Group G for the Last 16. FMP meanwhile dropped to 1-4, ending all hopes of reaching the next round. Rafa Martinez paced Pamesa with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Shammond Williams tallied 12 points, Vule Avdalovic scored 11, Albert Oliver had 10 and Ruben Douglas collected 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. The Valencia defense forced 21 FMP turnovers in getting the victory. FMP was led by 26 points from Dragan Labovic, while Mladen Jeremic hit for 16. But no other player scored more than 7 points for the hosts.

Predrag Samardziski opened the game for the hosts and Douglas's first basket followed. Labovic and Jeremic sandwiched threes around a Williams triple for an 8-6 FMP lead early. Matt Nielsen scored the next 5 points, including a three-point play, only to see Labovic knock down another long ball to knot the game at 11-11. Ermal Kuqo pushed the visitors back ahead by 3, but Jeremic again drained a triple to make it 14-14. Labovic twice matched Valencia baskets and two foul shots each by Labovic and Nemanja Protic gave FMP a 22-21 lead. Filip Covic later hit a three-ball and Jeremic's next basket had FMP ahead 27-24 after one period. Douglas opened the second quarter and Oliver's triple pushed Valencia back ahead. Jeremic would answer with another three-ball in helping FMP move into the lead 32-28, only to watch Williams and Douglas drain back-to-back long balls as Pamesa regained the lead. It was 39-42 when Nielsen fouled Labovic, who hit the three-pointer and made the ensuing free throw to complete the four-point play. And Labovic knocked down another three-ball to give FMP a 46-42 lead at the break.

Martinez's foul shots started the second half but FMP remained ahead as Miroslav Raduljica's free throws made it 52-49. Valencia however shut down the hosts for more than five minutes as Williams knocked down a three to knot the game. Martinez also hit from long range, followed by Oliver's three-point play and three-balls by Martinez again and Avdalovic, whose shot completed a 0-19 surge for a 52-68 lead late in the third quarter. Jeremic stopped the carnage with a triple but Valencia still led 55-70 going into the fourth. Pamesa did not let up in the final quarter though Jeremic hit the first basket. Martinez and Avdalovic both connected from long range and Kosta Perovic and Avdulovic scored two-point baskets to finish off a 2-10 run for the biggest lead of the game at 56-80. Labovic would knock down another triple but FMP would not get closer than 18 points the rest of the way.

Head Coaches

STEPANDIC, MILOVAN
FMP Zeleznik
"My players deserve congratulations for everything they showed in the first 20 minutes. But later in the second half, some of them were selfish and that made me angry. Congratulations to Pamesa for the win they deserved."
SPAHIJA, NEVEN
Pamesa Valencia
"Each time I see FMP they surprise me nice with their group of talented kids. We played bad in the first half but in the second everything came to place. Pamesa is a big team and we are chasing for trophies each season. Why could not it be the Eurocup this season?"

Players

MUSLI, DEJAN
FMP Zeleznik
"We were so good in the first half and so bad in the second. That could be a nice lesson to us and important experience before the games in the Adriatic League."
