Roby scored right at the start of the second quarter but Savvas Iliadis sank a big triple. James matched that with a three-point play while a dunk by Roby gave Bnei its first lead, 22-21. Tsaldaris fired in another three-pointer but a layup-plus-foul by James made the guests call timeout at 69-55. Aris needed a quick comeback to keep its options alive and Tsaldaris trying to ignite one with a put-back layup and a triple. Clark also struck from downtown for a 75-68 Aris deficit. Head Coaches

BEIT HALAHMY, ARIEL
Bnei Hasharon
"I wish to congratulate my players on a very good game. We showed a great sportsmanslike spirit. It was very difficult to play well today because of all the happenings around the team lately, but we came out to play a very tough game against a team that needed the win to qualify. We played very well in most parts of the game. The last 5 minutes were an exception, because we kept them on a low score for most of the game."
MAZZON, ANDREA
Aris Thessaloniki
"We made a couple of mistakes and lost some possessions we shouldn't have that cost us the game. It happened to us also last week when we lost to Panellinios by a bigger margin than we should have, and that all together cost us the ticket to the next round."

Players

ROBY, RICHARD
Bnei Hasharon
"We didn't finish the game as we wanted to, but it's a great win for us anyhow. I'm trying to learn in every game and go out there to have fun. We're just happy to come out with the win. I hope we could use it to have a better momentum and win some more games down the road."
MARSHALL, SEAN
Aris Thessaloniki
"We should have won this game, but didn't play as tough as we should have. In the last five minutes we woke up and started to play with more intensity and that made a difference. Too many shots were missed in the third quarter and it allowed them to make a run. It's disappointing we couldn't complete the come back in the end and finish the season early."
