On the deadline for Euroleague roster changes this season, CSKA Moscow announced that it has released shooting guard Dionte Christmas and re-registered legend Theo Papaloukas for the remainder of the season. Christmas was leading the Euroleague with 55.6% of his three-point shots made since he joined CSKA midway through the regular season. He averaged 7.5 points over 17 minutes per game in six regular season appearances, while those numbers dropped to 5.6 points and 13.7 minutes in the first seven games of the Top 16. Papaloukas re-joined CSKA, the team he led to Euroleague titles in 2006 and 2008, late in the regular season, appearing for just 24 minutes over 4 games. He has yet to appear in a Top 16 game. A former full-season and Final Four MVP, Papaloukas is the all-time Euroleague leader in assists, while his record for career steals was tied last week by Panathinaikos guard Dimitris Diamantidis.
