bwin MVPVictor Khryapa - CSKA MoscowIn his last game before the 2013 Final Four in London, Victor Khryapa cemented his status as a Euroleague force in claiming Playoffs Game 4 bwin MVP honors after leading CSKA Moscow to a series-clinching victory at Caja Laboral Vitoria. Khryapa led all players not only in Playoffs Game 4, but in all the games of the phase so far with a performance index rating of 29 as CSKA bested Vitoria 85-94 Friday to punch its ticket to the Final Four. Khryapa had a double-double just 25 minutes into the contest and finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals to pick up his second bwin MVP title of the playoffs. Khryapa’s frontline mate Nenad Krstic was second in the Game 4 charts with a 27 index. Krstic tallied 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting plus 5 successful free throws. Olympiacos forward Kostas Papanikolaou was this among Game 4 stars with an index rating of 23. He made 4 of 6 three-pointers on the way to 14 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in a 74-73 loss at Anadolu Efes. Rounding out the list of Game 4 studs are Ante Tomic of Barcelona Regal and Jordan Farmar of Efes. Tomic led Barcelona to season-saving 60-70 win at Panathinaikos with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals for a 21 index. Farmar recorded 15 points on 9-of-10 free-throw shooting for a 20 index. Four players share the Playoffs Game 4 scoring crown with 19 points apiece: Fabien Causuer of Caja Laboral, Khryapa, Krstic and Sonny Weems. Barcelona’s Juan Carlos Navarro leads all players with an average of 17 points per game in the playoffs. Semih Erden of Efes, Khryapa and Stephane Lasme of Panathinaikos share the top spot among Game 4 rebounders with 12 apiece. The three were the only players in game 4 to amass double doubles as well. Tomic and Khryapa are the top rebounders in the playoffs with 8.3 boards apiece. Khryapa and Tomic are also Game 4’s co-leaders in steals with 3 each. Dimitris Diamantidis of Panathinaikos, David Logan of Maccabi Electra and Jamon Lucas of Efes are the playoffs co-leaders in steals with averages of 2 per game. The most assists delivered in Game 4 came from the hands of Diamantidis and Barcelona’s Marcelinho Huertas with 6 each. Final Four MVP Vassilis Spanoulis’s 7 assists per game in the playoffs are the most in the league. Olympiacos big man Kyle Hines rejected 4 shots to lead all Game 4 participants.
