Partizan NIS Belgrade suffered another big blow this season, learning the news team captain Dragan Milosavljevic hurt his ACL. Further test on Sunday will determine the exact severity of the injury that will likely sideline Milosavljevic (1.98 meters, 25 years old) for the remainder of the season. Injury occurred during the third quarter of the Top 16 Round 4 road loss to Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, when he landed awkwardly after going for a rebound. Going into the last week’s game Milosavljevic led the Euroleague in minutes played, and as the team’s starting forward in 13 out of 14 Euroleague games this season, Milosavljevic averaged 12.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in 32 minutes on the floor. He sustained the same injury like two other of his teammates. Point guard Leo Westerman torn his ACL in Round 5 of the Regular Season, while forward Davis Bertans got hurt in the Serbian League playoff finals last season, and has not yet returned to action.
