Having already taken the honor in Top 16 Round 3, it is the second weekly MVP award of the season for Fernandez, and the sixth of his spectacular Euroleague career. Spending 34 minutes on court – another personal best and more than any other Madrid player – Fernandez finished with 28 points by shooting 5 of 9 for two pointers, 4 of 7 on three-pointers and making all 6 of his attempts from the free throw line. He added 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals to compile a performance index rating of 33, the highest of any player on a winning team this week. The highest rating of the week belonged to CSKA's forward Sonny Weems, who scored 28 points along with 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 drawn fouls for an index rating of 35. In third place with an index rating of 31 sits Dimitris Diamantidis of Panathinaikos Athens. In a 76-67 win over Fenerbahce Ulker and his long-time coach Zeljko Obradovic, Diamantidis had 15 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 11 drawn fouls. Rounding out the list of the week's top performers were Pops Mensah-Bonsu of Galatasaray Liv Hospital and Richard Hendrix of Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, each with index ratings of 26. In a key 76-69 win over FC Bayern Munich, Mensah-Bonsu collected 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 drawn fouls, while Hendrix had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in Lokomotiv’s dramatic 85-86 win over Zalgiris Kaunas. Weems and Fernandez led the week’s scorers with 28 points apiece. Keith Langford of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan sat out this week's game, but remains the competition's leader with 17.4 points per game. Joffrey Lauvergne of Partizan NIS Belgrade, and Samardo Samuels of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan shared the weekly rebounding title with 12 boards apiece. Lauvergne increased his lead as the league's leading rebounder to 8.9 per night. Carlos Arroyo of Galatasaray dished a club-record 11 assists and was the only player in double digits in Top 16 Round 11. Diamantidis remained the season-long leader with 6.8 assists, while Arroyo is ranked second with 5.5. Nemanja Bjelica of Fenerbahce Ulker recorded 5 steals, the best this week. Jamon Gordon of Anadolu Efes tops the standings with 2.1 steals per game. There were 10 players with 2 blocks this week. Bryant Dunston remained the league leader with 1.6 blocks.
