Diamantidis was his usual brilliant and efficient self with 13 points on near-perfect shooting plus 6 assists en route to a performance index rating of 31, which was the best among players on winning teams in Top 16 Round 13. The former MVP also amassed 4 rebounds and 1 block and drew 8 fouls. The round’s highest index rating came from Galatasaray Liv Hospital’s Zoran Erceg, who set club records with 35 points and 7 three pointers made in an 86-85 overtime loss at CSKA Moscow. Erceg made 7 of 9 threes and added 9 rebounds and 2 steals in piling up an index rating of 36. Malcolm Delaney recorded a 35 index with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 2 steals for FC Bayern Munich, which lost 92-94 to Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv. With 35 points, Erceg not only led all the scorers in Top 16 Round 13, but racked up the most points scored in the league all season. Keith Langford of EA7 Milan, who missed his third consecutive game with an injury, remains the Euroleague's leading scorer with 17.4 points per game. Linas Kleiza of Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul and Joey Dorsey of FC Barcelona each grabbed 11 rebounds, sharing the honors as the week's best. Joffrey Lauvergne of Partizan NIS Belgrade averages a league-high 8.5 rebounds per game. Thomas Heurtel of Laboral Kutxa Vitoria and Delaney each had 10 assists to lead all players this week. Diamantidis remains the season-long assists leader with 6.6 per night. Five players had 3 steals this week - Justin Dentmon of Zalgiris Kaunas, Partizan's Sasha Pavlovic and Milenko Tepic, and Bayern's Chevon Troutman and Bryce Taylor.
