Signature Star: Sergio Llull, Real Madrid
Sergio Llull - Real Madrid - EB13

Sergio Llull is a player who has no fear. So when Real Madrid needs a big play, Llull is always eager to oblige, an attitude that has made him a pillar of the team's success in recent seasons. Now, if the Spanish champs have what it takes to go all the way, it is likely that Llull will be among the stars leading the charge. Milan is Llull's third Final Four in four seasons and he has been one of Madrid's top performers thus far on the big stage, averaging 14.8 points over the first two.

Since making his Euroleague debut as a teenager in 2007, no Real Madrid player has played more games or more minutes in the Euroleague than Llull. Over that span of seven seasons, Llull has been one of the top players in the entire competition, ranking fourth in assist-to-turnover ratio, seventh in three-pointers made, eighth in assists and ninth in scoring. This season, the 27-year old combo-guard has been a beacon of consistency. After starting all 29 of Madrid's games so far, he ranks second in the Euroleague in two-point shooting percentage among guards and enters the Final Four on pace to set his career highs in performance index rating, three-pointers made and assists.

Many of the talents that make Llull a great and exciting to watch player are difficult to measure. He has a knack for burying clutch shots, a seemingly endless supply of energy and a penchant for making highlights-worthy plays. Coach Pablo Laso's run-and-gun philosophy is tailor-made for Llull's skills. Accordingly, Llull serves as the motor that ignites his team's crowd-pleasing attack, one of most potent in Euroleague history. With the lessons learned and experience gained from his previous Final Fours, Llull travels to Milan seeking basketball immortality in the form of a ninth continental crown for Real Madrid.
