On the way to its sixth continental crown at the 2014 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in Milan, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv enjoyed tremendous support from thousands of faithful fans, who carried the team and made their presence felt the entire weekend. Maccabi’s fans not only painted Mediolanum Forum yellow, but helped write one of the greatest chapters in the franchise’s storied history. In one of many ways the club is looking to show its gratitude for their undying support, Maccabi Electra provided the fans with a chance to create more memories that will last for ages.

After winning the Euroleague Championship Game, team captain Guy Pnini was joined by David Blu in jointly lifting the Euroleague trophy before each Maccabi member proudly embraced the most-coveted piece of silverware in European basketball. Maccabi later gave its faithful an opportunity to do the same.

For two days, thousands of members of the team’s free-to-join fan club, Maccabist, arrived at the club’s Hall of Fame at Nokia Arena. There they could be photographed, touch, hug and kiss that same Euroleague trophy their heroes had just won. In addition, the visitors also had a chance to meet and take photos with some of Maccabi’s greatest legends.

Head coach David Blatt, club chairman Shimon Mizrahi, former Maccabi great and current team manager Nikola Vujcic and other members of the coaching staff also visited to celebrate with the yellow fans.

Maccabi photographers posted well over 2,000 photos from the event on the team’s Facebook page -
